Venue: The Trust

The Trust – Melbourne CBD

Where Manhattan meets Melbourne, The Trust has been resurrected in style. For you luxe lovers, this might just be your dream venue!

Built in 1929 and located on iconic Flinders Lane in Melbourne, this venue boasts luxuriously designed interiors. Including dark polished woods, marble floors, natural lighting, and grand open spaces for both your ceremony and reception, The Trust is fit to host up to 350 guests.

Its heritage splendour has been preserved to create a modern and contemporary space, the perfect spot for people just wanting to throw a good old fashioned party.

Venue: The Wool Mill

The Wool Mill – Brunswick East

If you’re exploring wedding venues in Melbourne and haven’t come across The Wool Mill, you might be living under a rock. Tucked down a laneway in Brunswick East, this blank canvas warehouse is an urban minimalist’s dream, featuring three separate spaces that effortlessly flow from one into the next.

Soaring high ceilings, crisp white walls, and an industrial laneway primed for epic portraits are just a few of the features that make The Wool Mill ever so popular with newly engaged couples. Hosting up to 200 guests, your day will begin in the cocktail foyer where guests will mingle and enjoy a drink (or two!), before moving into the ‘I do’ room where they’ll watch you tie the knot in front of a stunning floral backdrop. From there, they’ll flow downstairs into the main event, The Feasting Hall, to dance the night away and celebrate your love.

There’s just something so magical about this space!

Venue: Gather & Tailor

Gather & Tailor – West Melbourne

Prepare to swoon. We’re not exaggerating, you’re going to love this one!

Located just across from the Maribyrnong River in West Melbourne, lives Gather & Tailor, a rustic style warehouse space set to hold up to 320 guests.

Boasting two levels, plus an outdoor deck area, perfect for mingling, and cocktails with guests pre and post ceremony, this venue has so much to offer. Walk through the doors into the downstairs foyer, a space primed to hold your ceremony, featuring an iconic staircase backdrop and white walls, and ideal for cocktail hour with the addition of a delicious grazing table or roving canapés. When it’s time to venture upstairs via the stairway to heaven, as we like to call it, you’ll immediately feel a sense of awe as you take in the large open floor plan, rustic timber floors, soft draping curtains, and iconic wooden beams.

Its blank canvas nature allows you to bring your personality to life with the help of some experienced vendors, and transform the space to suit your dream wedding vision.

Venue: Chapel 1885

Chapel 1885 – Collingwood

There’s just something so magical about this space!

For those of you on the hunt for something unlike anything you’ve seen before, look no further than Chapel 1885. There is so much we could say about this venue, but let’s just start with the facts.

This converted Chapel is located in the heart of Collingwood, an ideal inner city location that many couples are searching for, and combines exposed brick walls with stunning timber ceilings, and wrought-iron finishes for a gothic yet luxurious aesthetic.

With a quaint outdoor courtyard ideal for romantic portraits, and two sitting rooms, plus a grand piano and heavenly arched window, Chapel 1885 is easily able to be transformed into the most decadent private space for your micro wedding of up to 90 guests.

Venue: The Button Factory

The Button Factory – Cheltenham

The Button Factory. An urban oasis mixed with a side of soul, situated in the bustling bayside suburb of Cheltenham. This venue features three completely separate and completely unique spaces that you can take advantage of, either opting to spend your entire night in just one, or allowing your guests to flow from one, into the next as the celebrations continue.

Weddings at The Button Factory usually run something like this – your ceremony will take place in The Garden room, offering a lush greenery backdrop, wood fire pizza oven, and abundant natural light streaming in. This space is gorgeous as is, but with the addition of some epic styling and florals, it really comes alive. With formalities out of the way, your guests will then head into The Gallery, a mere few steps away, where they will be surrounded by local art and enjoy roving canapés, bottles of bubbly and plenty of mingling before the reception kicks off.

Then ascend the staircase into The Loft, the light-filled reception space full of all white features, sunlight pouring onto the tables, and more than adequate space for a dance floor. For couples looking for convenience, individualism, and a whole lot of soul, look no further than The Button Factory.

Venue: The Ivory

The Ivory – Elsternwick

Prepare to fall in love again at The Ivory. Hidden in the leafy streets of Elsternwick, you can find The Ivory, a Georgian-style venue that combines grand architecture with contemporary design.

There’s plenty to adore about The Ivory as it offers both a lush Rose Garden Terrace that acts as an elegant ceremony backdrop and portrait location, plus a bud lit ballroom where guests are invited to dine in romantic sophistication.

Soft draping, a spacious dance floor, and a plethora of picturesque details make for a magical fairytale wedding that will be remember for years to come. Photos simple don’t do it justice, this is one space you have to see to believe!

Venue: Two Ton Max

Two Ton Max – North Melbourne

Tucked down a street in North Melbourne, only 5km from the CBD and offering the perfect blend of inner city charm with contemporary finishes, is Two Ton Max.

This venue has all of our favourite luxe and contemporary features married into one (pardon the pun), and offers polished concrete floors, exposed beams, and opulent hanging pendant lights. We adore Two Ton Max’s open floor plan and blank canvas attributes as it offers you the opportunity to create a unique event that encapsulates your style and personality.

Ample street parking and local public transportation makes it a convenient spot for your guests, and its ability to host both your ceremony and reception means that they won’t have to venture outside of these doors all night long. Have we sold you yet?!
